How to Choose the Right Pilates Springs for my Equipment

There is often some confusion among Pilates practitioners when it comes to choosing the right Pilates springs for their equipment. In this blog, we aim to address all the questions you might have about this topic.

Properly replacing Pilates springs is a task that should be done approximately every 2 years, as indicated by the manufacturers of machines or springs. Although the springs may look fine and have a good appearance, their performance decreases over time, and issues such as breakage can occur due to the high-intensity exercises performed during this period.

So when it’s time to replace these springs, which ones should you choose? How can you be sure they will be the same as your current ones? At SuitPilates, we classify all Pilates springs according to different Pilates brands. Over the years, we have worked on and improved Pilates springs to offer high-quality and high-performance products to our customers.

We have organized the springs into Series based on different Pilates manufacturers to make it easy for our customers to choose the correct springs:

For Contemporary Pilates (Balanced Body®, BonPilates®, Elina Pilates®, Stott Pilates®, Peak Pilates®…), we have developed these Series of springs:

  • BB series (Balanced Body®): The leading manufacturer of Pilates equipment worldwide. Almost every contemporary Pilates studio has equipment from this brand. At SuitPilates, we offer springs for Reformer, Chair, Tower, and Cadillac. You can view all the springs here.
